My wife is going start exercising again so I am thinking about trying to get her to take a Pilates class or at least get a CD to work out with. Does anyone know if the Watchtower finds anything wrong with Pilates? I'm sure Yoga is right out although I did it as a JW but then again I did a lot of things they said you couldn't do if I felt there was nothing wrong with them. I'm sure they might say something like it will take valuable time from the door to door work that is a given but what I am wondering about is do they claim demons will get you or some garbage like that if you do Pilates.

How'd that happen? Anyway my above post I copied from Blondie's post quoting the WT. It is such a crock. I had two of these people in my congregtion that claim to be annointed. Never once did they Watchtower go to them to get advice. They didn't write any articles for the publications and never worked on Watchtower policies. They don't need to replace these annointed ones when they die because they never used them.

Its snowing in BRITAIN..........disaster !!!!!!!!
by vitty inwell the uk got 3 inches of snow last night and the country came to a standstill.
schools all round birmingham closed, luton airport closed, people were advised not to take unnecessary journeys whew........................ive lived in a country where it snowed a foot in one night and then continued for days and days and then it stayed for 4 months.
the schools would never shut and the trains and buses (yep the same ones as the uk) kept running, oh and so do the airports !

I love the snow so it would bother me. Plus I have a Subaru. I heard about New York. It will be crazy if they do get 100 inches. Not uncommon for that much snow in the mountains of the western US but I don't think New Yorkers are used to it.

A JW actually spoke to me yesterday
by Mulan ini stopped at the store yesterday, on the way home from having taken my jw mother to lunch.
inside the store was a jw i've known my entire life, but he doesn't live in our area.
the store was trader joe's, and they are not in every community, so he had driven quite a ways to get there.

Wow treated you like you were a regular human being. That is unusual. There are some that will talk to me from my wife's congregation. The first time it happened to me I was shocked. Maybe he is having second thoughts about his religion. After all nothing they have said has come true and Jehovah hasn't hunted you down and killed you for leaving. I would think some of them would be thinking about that.
I guess you're a Trader Joe's fan also. I was just there yesterday shoping for things I can eat on my diet. The only wine I bought was a bottle of Two Buck Chuck for cooking. First time ever I have got out so cheap.

by I quit! inmonday i started the healthy diet i had been planning to start since the new year began.
this week i also went out and bought some financial magazines to help me review what i was doing and see if i could get any good ideas.
so today, thursday i sit down and start thumbing through money magazine.

I quit!
I've been battling and trying to change all my life. And still its only got me here. I guess I'm still alive at 54 so thats a good thing.
That is kind of what brought this lifestyle change on with me. I just went to funeral Saturday for a friend of mine who died of a heart attack at age 49. He wasn't taking care of him self physically. Also he wasn't putting anything away for his family in case anything happened to him. I guess like all of us he felt there was plenty of time. Anyway I agree appreciate every day and just enjoy the ride.

Yesterday I started a new workout routine. I bought some hand weights and worked out the backs of my upper arms. Ah that felt good! Then I placed them on the dresser and they rolled off onto my left foot-----WHAM BAM!!!!! AHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!
Ouch!! Who says exercise is good for you? Next time get the Nerf weights.
